Arcade racer MMX Hill Climb pits monster trucks against tanks
MMX Hill Climb takes a page from the big book of Trials, and then doodles a big tank in the middle of it. It's a 2.5D arcade racer which puts you in charge of a massive vehicle, then tasks you with completing tracks as fast as you can. There's a variety of rigs to drive, ranging from massive monster trucks to APCs, all of which can be unlocked through play and driven across treacherous - and hilly, obviously - terrain. If you want to see how it handles, just check out the video above. Alternatively, if you'd rather download it and find out for youself, you can grab MMX Hill Climb free for iPhone and iPad, and on Android right now.…

Beautiful RTS title, Battleplans, comes to the iOS platform
To all the iOS fans out there: rejoice! This week, publishers En Masse Entertainment dropped their slickly animated game Battleplans onto the App Store for us all to enjoy – for free. Playing on a modernised take of the genre, Battleplans will be sure to excite RTS lovers new and old. The player-driven publisher pushes the games tendency to allow complex immersion whilst remaining a non-committal title, with the tactical depth of a traditional RTS game and the accessibility and controls of a simpler device. This allows the game to be experienced by those who have perhaps never delved into the genre, too. Focusing predominantly on tactical movement and the careful positionin…

With some of the same strategy elements behind it, yet on a smaller, more bitesized scale, we incorporated el…

Mystic Castle is a text-based adventure that just launched on iOS, and is made up of a ton of different genres. To achieve this you'll use alchemy to generate gold and then use it to hire farmers who'll harvest local resources. These are used to build that city we mentioned earlier.
