SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off's first major update adds The Juice Bar restaurant and new costumes for Sandy

SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off has now received its first major update. The game launched last month and has since amassed over 10 million players on Google Play alone. From today, you'll be able to serve healthy snacks in an all-new restaurant, known as The Juice Bar. It's said to be the perfect place for a post-workout dining experience, specialising in fruit and tasty smoothies. Beyond the latest restaurant, you'll also now be able to customise some new costumes for Sandy Cheeks. It's good to see the game receiving a fairly substantial content drop not long after launch, and it's perhaps a sign that Cook-off will be around for a fair while, something the early download numbers definitely…

Marvel Contest of Champions adds the ferocious Tigra, with Hit-Monkey set to follow later this month

Marvel Contest of Champions' latest motion comic shows off incoming heroes Tigra and Hit-Monkey. Tigra is the game's latest playable character, and she's available right now, while Hit-Monkey is set to arrive later this month. The comic, narrated by Ze Frank, is well worth a watch if you're a fan of these characters. I'm not particularly knowledgeable on either of them, though my curiosity has definitely been piqued. Hit-Monkey is a Japanese macaque, otherwise known as a snow monkey, who enjoys donning a stylish suit and going all Agent 47 on his unsuspecting victims. While the comic suggests that the pair will do battle, the event will actually require them to partner together to take…

Call of Duty Mobile's seventh season, Radioactive Agent, kicks off tomorrow

Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 is set to begin tomorrow following last week's high-profile delay. The date was moved back in support of the ongoing protests surrounding the killing of George Floyd by accused ex-policeman Derek Chauvin. Over on the App Store, you'll find a rundown of everything included in the new season, named "Radioactive Agent". The battle royale mode's map has grown in size, with an additional 7 zones to explore. There's also a new BR class and tank to try out when on the battlefield. On top of all that, fan-favourite characters Ghost and Price will be kitted out with new gear to battle "radioactive danger". Goodness me. Two new maps will also drop tomorrow: Tunisia and…

Cooking games can be pretty hit or miss on mobile, though one that seemed to win over a rather sizeable crowd was 99Games' Star Chef. Its sequel, Star Chef 2, has now launched for iOS and Android, and it's said to offer "an infinite source of culinary fun, joy, and learning". As the head chef and manager at a fancy restaurant, it's your job to master the essentials of cooking, baking, and grilling the finest cuisine from across the world. Thankfully, you won't have to do all of the work yourself, as you'll gradually build up a team of chefs to cater to the demanding expectations of your guests. Sprinkled throughout are some celebrity appearances, pool parties, and even a bit of live musi…

Black Desert Mobile's Valencia update boosts the game's level cap and doubles the size of its world

Black Desert Mobile already boasted one of mobile gaming's largest explorable world, and today's Valencia update has only gone and doubled its size while boosting the level cap to 75 and introducing a number of quality of life improvements. Valencia is a giant landmass located to the east of the Mediah territory. It is said to be of a similar size to Mediah, Serendia, Balenos, and Calpheon all put together. There's a whole lot here to explore, though only the most seasoned of adventurers need attempt to traverse the vast desert that separates the Calpheon Republic and the Valencian Empire. The Bashim and Waragon territories are now available in-game, and within those all-new areas, you'r…

Marvel Realm of Champions unveils another of its houses, the Gamma Horde

Earlier this week, Kabam shared the first info on another of Marvel Realm of Champions' houses, the Gamma Horde. It's home to various factions of the Hulks of the Horde, who are all now caught up in a struggle to determine their role in the turbulent Battleworld. All told, it doesn't seem to be the most inviting location, what with the less-than-friendly locals and green goo everywhere. Featuring areas such as the Killiseum, Badlands, and Dragon Boneyard, it certainly sounds like one of the Battleworld's deadliest places to be. Marvel Realm of Champions, if you didn't know, is an ambitious follow-up to Kabam's popular fighting game, Marvel Contest of Champions, which you can check out in…

Marvel Contest of Champions introduces the Soviet Union's answer to Captain America, Red Guardian

Marvel Contest of Champions' roster is set to expand once again with the arrival of its latest hero, Red Guardian. While his addition is undoubtedly pretty neat, I have to imagine that he was originally intended to make his grand appearance alongside the release of the since-delayed Black Widow, now slated to hit cinemas November 6th. Indeed, his in-game version is clearly inspired by the film's take on the character, who is said to be the Soviet equivalent of Captain America. He'll be portrayed by Stranger Things actor David Harbour in the upcoming film. Alexei Shostakov, otherwise known as Red Guardian, was one of the Soviet Union's deadliest pilots, ruling over the skies of Stalingrad…

BTS World's latest update adds brand-new chapter to Another Story, special events, and more

BTS World has today received a major update that focuses on Yoongi and adds a new chapter to the popular Another Story mode, fresh 5-star cards, special events, and more. Another Story is now into its second season, and it explores the alternate reality lives of each member of BTS. This gives fans some insight into their personalities and what they might have done if the band hadn't of formed. The second season sees them meeting at a special place called the Magic Shop, and this particular chapter explores Yoongi's journey to find a "piano of memories" after growing especially tired of his concern trip. On top of that, the update also introduces new 5-star cards of BTS and a 5-star card…

Marvel Super War completes its first original skin series with the arrival of Arcade Star-Lord

Marvel Super War has now wrapped up its first series of original skins with the addition of Arcade Star-Lord. This follows on from the arrival of Arcade Yondu, Arcade Groot, and Arcade Rocket Raccoon. From now until June 3rd, the new skin is discounted by 30%, and it actually looks pretty neat. There's even a bit of a backstory behind these skins, with the Guardians having been transformed into arcade game characters following a weapon test gone horribly wrong. They find themselves trapped within the Arcade World, which sounds fairly dangerous but certainly looks quite cool. Much like the earlier Arcade skins, the Arcade Star-Lord skin boasts a pixelated style, with its metallic blue col…

Not a great deal is currently known about what it'll introduce, though we do know that it aims to push players to their limits in the tropical rain forest heat. The Jungle Tour follows on from the popular Flower Tour, which served up some neat rewards such as the Piranha Plant Parafoil, Red Kiddie Kart, Baby Daisy, the Flower Glider, and Birthday Girl Daisy. If you're wondering why you weren't able to get those last three, they were for Gold Pass subscribers only. The Flower Tour is almost over. Thanks for racing!
