October update for Crossfire: Warzone adds new game mode

There has been a new update for Crossfire: Warzone on iOS and Android, and it’s a pretty big one that adds the new Capital Takeover War game mode. Capital Takeover War is an event that occurs in the middle of the field map on each server, as long as it’s at least 90 days or older. Joycity has added this to hopefully increase PvP participation, with the new event taking place fortnightly and sees allies fighting for dominance on their server. The winning team’s leader will then gain a special title that remains for two weeks, and they’re also able to assign this title to six other members of their alliance. Garena Free Fire adds the Ultrasonic Rave to its Elite Pass

Garena Free Fire has had another Elite Pass (EP) added to the popular battle royale, this time called the Ultrasonic Rave, so you can expect a musically themed EP this time around. As the title suggests, the Ultrasonic Rave EP sports a retro inspired hip hop theme, with the new characters sporting oversized jewellery, baggy trousers and a huge puffy jacket to match the aesthetic. League of Legends: Wild Rift soft launched in Asia, but western regions will have to wait a bit longer

League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot’s mobile version of the popular PC MOBA, is now available on iOS and Android in certain regions. The soft launch includes Japan, The Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, but the rest of the world will have to wait until at least the end of the year to play it. Riot has also released two trailers for League of Legends: Wild Rift to go with this soft launch, which can both be seen below. It’s an arcade game where you play as a retired archer named Hall, who is pulled away from his peaceful life after an enemy steals his precious cat, Alfador, and Hall has to go out and rescue it. Google Stadia has announced some new games are coming to the service as well as launching three free demos over this week for all users. Each demo will require a Stadia account to access, but neither Stadia Pro nor a form of payment is required to play these titles.
